Since its introduction in 2004, Global MMOG/LE has become the industry standard for assessing the SCM capability of OEM plants and thousands of Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers against what is considered to be best practice. It is an essential aid to customers, giving them greater visibility of the capability of their supply chain and allowing them to monitor the progress of improvement plans. The MMOG catalogue of SCM audit questions is reviewed on a regular basis (every 3 years) to make sure that assessments continue to meet the evolving requirements of the automotive industry and review for the next version is now due.
