📢 Work begins on Version 7 of Global MMOG/LE

Together with our American colleagues from AIAG and our European colleagues from Odette, we have decided to kick-start the Version 7 project for MMOG. The framework was recently clarified following stakeholder consultations.

🎯 We set objectives aimed at improving the collection of automotive supply chain best practices, favouring the dissemination of MMOG down the supplier tiers, and making the approach even more intuitive for newcomers.

🔎 We have also identified several key topics such as the use of AI in the supply chain, a better understanding of ESG requirements (Environnement, Social and Governance), and the counterfeiting of cybersecurity threats, where we should investigate and push further the boundaries set with Version 6.

Considering that Version 6 incorporated significant new features to meet evolving automotive requirements, we are now calling for Version 7 to be an evolution, not a revolution.

🛠️ The workgroup, which is just starting to work, will review the different change requests from MMOG users. It is still time to join. It will operate through short web meetings over a few months. The plan is to be ready mid-2026.
