New Version of INVOIC V5

📢 GALIA Releases the New Version of the EDI INVOIC V5 Standard, Compatible with the French E-Invoicing Reform

The French e-invoicing reform represents a major transformation for all French businesses. It requires companies to select a certified e-invoicing platform, adopt or adapt structured invoice formats, and update their internal invoicing processes.

🗓️ The e-invoicing reform will come into effect on September 1, 2026.

From that date:

🔶 Large companies and medium-sized enterprises (ETIs) will be required to issue electronic invoices, submit e-reporting data for their international B2B and B2C transactions, and manage, at a minimum, invoice lifecycle statuses.
🔶 All companies must have selected a certified receiving platform.
🔶 All companies must have at least one electronic invoice receiving address registered in the Public Invoicing Portal directory.
🔶 All companies will be required to receive electronic invoices.

As part of the reform, several electronic invoicing syntaxes compliant with the EN 16931 European standard are officially recognized, including Factur-X, CII, UBL, and EDIFACT.
