40 years: episode 1

This year is like no other: we’re celebrating the 40 years of our association. It’s our anniversary, but more than that, it’s yours, because you are the contributors to everything we do collaboratively. 

By the way… How well do you know what we’ve built over the past 40 years, and what we’re planning for the years to come? We’re going to use this year of celebration to tell you all about it, episode by episode. And we also have a few surprises for you during the year… 

In the meantime, let’s be proud of what we’ve achieved together: 

• 40 years of discussion forums in the automotive supply chain. 

• 40 years of collaborative working groups to find solutions, involving car makers, part suppliers, service providers with a neutral and nonprofit governance. 

• 40 years of best-in-class standards, widely used in the automotive supply chain. Labeling, packaging, EDI, PLM data, processes… : it you work in automotive; you are surely using at least one of them! 

• 40 years of international partnerships with similar standardization associations. 

• 40 years of exclusive services for our members (training, homologation, support). 

And it is not finished! With our 200 member companies, we are developing the standards for the future.
