Evolution of the Global Transport Label (GTL)

Unlike the labels historically used in the automotive industry, the GTL is enriched with 2D barcodes in Datamatrix format. The Odette community has decided on a new Version 2.2 of Odette LL08 Recommendation including:

• The addition of 2 new formats of small height labels for small height packaging or blisters.
• The use of a common DIN/AFNOR syntax that simplifies the encoding of data in Datamatrix barcodes.
