Feedback on COVID-19 crisis management – EDI flows

The sanitary crisis has generated production stoppages and restarts in an extremely disturbed context. Putting into “crisis management” mode, however, resulted in communication difficulties between customers and suppliers and a lack of updating data transmitted by EDI.

Witnessing the difficulties encountered by its members, GALIA has taken the initiative to organizse a series of feedback workshops to discuss:

  • Identification of the problems encountered on the customer side, on the supplier side, during shutdown and restart,
  • The identification of best practices and the implementation of possible action plans.

A first working session allowed participants to exchange views in complete transparency with the aim of identifying areas for improvement in the management of this type of complex crisis.
