GALIA and its members participate in the RFID standardization project at Odette level

GALIA and its members were present at the kick-off meeting of the RFID standardization project at Odette level. This work will extend the work carried out within GALIA. 

It is about sharing best practices and supplementing standards to guarantee the interoperability of RFID processes within our industry. Of course, other “contactless” technologies are incorporated into our thinking. 

For this meeting we were hosted by MHP (A PORSCHE COMPANY) in Ludwigsburg. 

In addition to the presence of Odette, GALIA and the VDA, we benefited from the participation of: AB VOLVO, BMW, BOSCH, BROSE, CONFIDEX, DAIMLER, FORD OTOSAN, HD WIRELESS, PARAGON ID, RENAULT, SILVERPROD, TREVES. Others should join this group with complementary expertise. 

This kick-off meeting was appreciated by the participants: we carried out a first round table on current know-how and outlined our future work program.
