Odette Packaging meeting, Berlin, November 22nd 

Environmental concerns and circular economy regulations are impacting the packaging we use in our industry. 
 
In addition to the current GALIA Packaging Circular Economy workgroup, we have decided to investigate this subject with our European counterparts. We will meet in Berlin on November 22nd, to share our findings and launch a common project.  
 
Amongst all the topics to study, regulations are becoming very demanding in terms of exchanging packaging data amongst the supply chain partners. Maybe an opportunity to develop new standards.  
 
Best practices, known or to be developed, will also need sharing to minimise the environmental impacts of the packaging that are used.
