Best practices for crisis management between automotive customers and suppliers (French version)
The COVID-19 crisis has generated multiple stoppages and restarts of production which have resulted in communication difficulties between customers and suppliers and a lack of updating of data transmitted by EDI.
Faced with the difficulties encountered, GALIA conducted workshops which made it possible to highlight best practices and improvement actions identified following feedback from companies.
This recommendation highlights:
- The encountered difficulties,
- The different scenarios and the definition of best practices,
- Identification of areas for improvement and action plans to be implemented.
These best practices can be applied to other types of crises such as the shortage of electronic components.
